neighborhood slang.
i used the phrase ‘roll up’ talking to my boss today. as in ‘melanie always rolls up at 8:10 or so, as i’m about to just leave without her..’
i still feel weird that i did that. she definitely was thrown off by it.

it is a bit discomforting that at a store I frequent yesterday, a quick catch-up with the clerk yielded the following:
Clerk: Hey! How’ve you been? You haven’t been here in awhile.
Me: I know, been busy. I’ve needed a couple of things for awhile and just couldn’t put it off anymore.
Clerk: You’re always, always busy. That never changes, haha. I know you know where...

too many things to do lately. i find that my unconscious mind is manifesting its upset state by constantly clinching the muscles in my left shoulder. i’m never aware i am doing this until extreme pain sets in and i have to dedicate 15 minutes to trying to massage the pain away.
i am really curious about why this is happening, but of course do not have time to figure it out.

Almost got hit AGAIN. He missed me by 2 inches. Had to break so hard he squealed his tires.
I was in the fucking crosswalk with a walk sign.

Used a t square to scrape the ice off my car this morning. Because I have a 4foot t square in my car but not an ice scraper.
